Senior Companions in association with a multidisciplinary team of licensed professionals (including CPA’s, healthcare professionals, attorneys, doctors, nurses, geriatric care managers, certified senior advisors, and financial services professionals) as well as non-professional personnel, assists our senior clients, their families, and other responsible parties in assessing the needs and appropriate level of service required. We will assist the client and family in developing and implementing a care program, with emphasis on living at home and the client’s need for self-determination. We can assist in nutrition and wellness programs for individuals, groups and companies. We assist individuals and families in locating and employing qualified caregivers and care providers in their community. In addition, we will monitor the services to ensure a high level of quality and professionalism. We then report to the client, family, or responsible party on a regular basis. We are available to monitor income, disbursements, and investments; account for the estate; pay bills as authorized; and accumulate and provide information on appropriate resources as circumstances change.
Senior Companions is a privately held corporation, headquartered in Houston, Texas. It is owned by its founder and president, Tom L. Pointer. email@example.com. Mr. Pointer is a Certified Public Accountant, Personal Financial Specialist, Certified Financial Planner, Certified Senior Advisor, and has a Masters in Financial Planning with emphasis in retirement and estate planning. He has been active in speaking on issues of retirement and elder care, and has written numerous articles on the subject. He is an experienced business executive with a long history of financial, tax, and accounting services for seniors and is an advocate for long-term care planning.
